Split your song tracks into stems using the ACE Studio Stem Splitter.

What Is Stem Splitter

Stem Splitter is a tool that allows you to split an audio clip containing a full mix into separate tracks for its core components, such as vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments.

How to Use Stem Splitter

Stem Splitter operates on a selected region of your timeline. Click and drag on the Canvas to create a selection. Ensure this selection covers the audio clip you wish to split.

There are 3 ways to open the Stem Splitter panel:

• Click the Stem Splitter icon in the main toolbar.

• With your region selected, right-click on it to open the context menu. Navigate to the AI Tools submenu and select Stem Splitter.

• Click on the Split into Stems button at the left side of audio clip viewer. For more information about audio clip, please refer to Clips.

Split Stems

Inside the Stem Splitter panel, you need to configure how you want to split the audio.

• Choose one of the 3 stem split modes:

  • Basic: Vocal + Instrumental

  • Professional: Vocal, Drums, Bass, Piano, Guitar, Others

  • Advanced: All detected stems

• Remove reverb and backing vocals, avliable in Basic and Professional mode.

After selecting the stem split mode, click the Split button. After a few seconds of process, the stems will be added down below the original track.
