Main Interface
After logging in, you will see this main interface unless your membership expired. This is the workstation where you can produce AI vocals.
To quit ACE Studio, just simply close this window.
To log out, select [Help] — [Log out] from the main menu.
Preferences
For windows users, you can find preferences under [File] form main menu.
For Mac users, you can find preferences under [ACE Studio] from main menu.
General
In General tab, you can set up:
- User interface language
- ACE Studio will sync to your system language by default
- Track default language
- It will sync to the user interface language by default
- Flip animation
- During playback, if the flip animation is on. When the timeline is about to reach the end of the current view, it will automatically flip the page (including arrangement view and clip view).
- You can set up the animation speed, the position of timeline when to trigger the flip, and the zoom size when to dismiss the flip.
- MIDI import
- Setting up whether to lower or increase by 1 oct while importing MIDI
- ACE Bridge installation
- If you haven’t installed ACE Bridge plugin, you can install it here
- After the installation, if you find the plugin doesn’t work, you can also reinstall it here
- ACE Studio will ask you to update ACE Bridge when a new version is available
- Room Effect installation
- This room effect is an important component for choir mode. It brings a spatial effect for the choir track.
- It will be asked for installation by the first time you activate choir mode. If you find the room effect doesn’t work, try to reinstall it from here.
Audio
In Audio tab, you can set up:
For windows users:
Due to the exclusivity of ASIO, it can only support one program at a time. If you want to use an ASIO device, please make sure there is no other program using ASIO. For more informations, please refer to ASIO problem?.
- Audio device
- Audio input (for audio recording)
- Audio output
- Audio output channel
- New device notice
- If selected: When the system audio device list changed, ACE Studio will ask you to check new audio device.
- Sample rate
- Buffer size
- Latency compensation
- You can adjust this number to fix the latency when recording audio
- Count-in
- The metronome clicks before recording starts

You can update to the latest version manually here.
Transport
This is where to control the playback. You can also open your account page, export audio, and share the current project here.

Library
You can find all pre-made voices, public voices, your custom voices, samples, and templates in the library.
It’s open by default, you can collapse it by clicking the current tab or using shortcut [Shift] + [S].

Arrangement View
Overview
The Arrangement Overview always shows the whole range of the project, from start to end. The white rectangular outline represents the part that is currently visible in the Arrangement View. To adjust the visible area, you can click anywhere in the Arrangement Overview or drag the outlined rectangular to the left or right.
Time ruler
Time moves from left to right in the arrangement view, and the time ruler shows in beat-time. The time ruler also carries tempo tags, signature tags, and loop brace.
Timeline, marker-line, and selection

Arrangement
This is where you arrange all the midi clips the audio clips track by track.
In ACE Studio, you can:
- Insert “singer tracks” or “choir tracks” to generate AI singing vocals from MIDI clips.
- Insert “audio tracks” to import audio clips.
- Insert a “chord track” to create chord loops.

To move the view:
- Drag with the middle mouse button
- Use mouse wheel to move vertically
- Hold [Shift] and use mouse wheel to move horizontally
- Drag the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the interface to move horizontally
- Drag the vertical scrollbar at right of the interface to move vertically
To zoom the view:
- Hold [Ctrl / Cmd] and use mouse wheel to zoom in/out horizontally
- Drag the balls at two sides of the horizontal scrollbar to zoom in/out horizontally
Track List
The track list shows all tracks inserted in the current project.

Track Panel
Double click on the track head to open its track panel. You can also find the track panel trigger above the track list.
Shortcut [C].

Mixer
You can open the mixer by clicking on the mixer trigger above the track list.
Shortcut [M].
In mixer, you can:
- Control the volume and pan
- Activate solo
- Arm record for audio tracks
- Edit track name

Clip Viewer

Clip viewer is where you edit everything inside a midi clip or an audio clip.
When you place the time-marker-line on a clip, the clip viewer will show this clip.
When you create a selection on arrangement view, the clip view will show the corresponding content of the specific selection range.
To collapse the clip viewer, click the button at the right top corner or use shortcut [Shift] + [Tab].
To adjust the size of clip viewer, drag the top edge vertically.
