7. Mixing and effects

Track Head

On each track head, there are mute button, solo button, track icon, and track name by default.

  • The mute button is the triangle at left top, click on the button to mute this track. Color means not muted, grey means muted.
  • Double click on the track head to open its track panel.
  • When you hover the cursor on a track head, you can also solo it or open the FX panel.

Mixer

Click the Mixer icon to open the mixer.

  • Short cut [M]

In mixer, you can edit the track name, pan, volume

  • Track name: Double click to edit, press [Enter] to confirm.
  • Pan: drag horizontally to modify, double click to reset.
  • Fader: drag horizontally to modify, double click to reset.

Vocal Effects

There is a build-in vocal effect on each singer track and audio track.

The Vocal Effects is an effect rack with EQ, compressor, and reverb inside.

If you need to turn the whole effect off, click on the left top button of the rack.

If you need to turn one of the effects off, click on the white text rectangle.

Choir Mode

If you want multiple voices to sing the same melody, turn on choir mode.

  1. Double click on the singer track head to open the track control panel (Short cut [C]).
  2. Click on the purple button to turn on Choir Mode.
  3. Click “Add” button to add the same voice on this track, or drag and drop other voices from the voice library.
