ACE Studio 2.0 is currently in beta testing, and some features may not be fully launched.

Ensembles

Combine multiple AI instruments into a single track to form cohesive ensembles in ACE Studio.

What Is Ensemble

Ensemble is a feature that allows you to combine multiple AI instruments into one track, organizing them into a cohesive instrumental group.

You can manually save your customized ensemble presets into the Instrument Library, and several pre-made presets are also available.

To use an ensemble preset, simply drag it to the canvas or onto the track head.

Use Ensemble

To use ensemble, click the Turn on Ensemble button in the instrument track panel. Disabling ensemble mode will erase all ensemble settings.

Add/Remove Instruments

  • Click the + Add button to duplicate existing instruments.

  • Drag new instruments from the Library to add them to the ensemble.

  • Arrange the order of instruments by dragging them.

Parameter Editing

  • Spread: Controls the width of the ensemble sound.

  • Offset: Adjusts slight timing differences between instruments for a more natural effect.

  • Gain: Sets the volume for individual instruments.

Effects for Ensemble

If you want to create a sense of space, we recommend enabling the Room effect.

To learn more about effects, please refer to Effects.

Save as a Preset

In the track panel menu, you can save the current ensemble as a preset. You can customize the preset's name and tags for easy retrieval. Your ensembles preset will be saved in the Ensemble tab of the Instrument Library.

The presets you save will be stored in the cloud and linked to your account.
